License activation

You need your license number and an internet connection, as you need to contact our licensing servers. You will find your license number on your License agreement.

Activation – new user

  1. Start Pipeson Data Manager.
  2. Click on ‘Activate’ under Main menu – Help.
  3. Fill in License number, Name and Email address.
  4. Accept terms and conditions.
  5. Click on ‘Activate’ button.

Activation – license renewal

  1. Start Pipeson Data Manager.
  2. Click on ‘Renew License’ under Main menu – Help.
  3. Fill in License number.
  4. Accept terms and conditions.
  5. Click on ‘Activate’ button.

If you change computer, please contact support@pipeson.com. We need to re-activate your Pipeson Data Manager license.

Connect to Pipeson Web Service

Connect to Pipeson Web Service

The first time you start the Pipeson Data Manager you will get configuration window where you need to type the Pipeson Web Service address, username and password that are set in the “Web.config” of the Pipeson Web Service. This information is provided by your IT department or Pipeson.

Pipeson Data Manager will start, after you have filled in the ‘Connection information’ and clicked on the Ok button.

Installation

Installation

The Pipeson Data Manager setup wizard will guide you through the complete installation on your PC.

Windows administrative permissions are required to install this program. If you do not have admin rights please contact your IT-support.

  1. Unzip the downloaded Pipeson Data Manager folder.
  2. Uninstall any previous version of Pipeson Data Manager.
  3. Run the ‘Setup.exe’ file and follow the indicated steps.

PC software requirements

  • Microsoft .NET Framework (4.8 or later)
  • Microsoft Access Database Engine (32-bit)

Microsoft Access Database Engine
These drivers are needed to import data from Microsoft Excel workbooks. You might already have a 64-bit version installed but Pipeson Data Manager needs a 32-bit.
