Installation of Pipeson Certification Manager

The Pipeson Certification Manager setup wizard will guide you through the complete installation on your PC.

Windows administrative permissions are required to install this program. If you do not have admin rights please contact your IT-support.

  1. Unzip the downloaded Pipeson Certification Manager folder.
  2. Uninstall any previous version of Pipeson Certification Manager.
  3. Run the ‘Setup.exe’ file and follow the indicated steps.

PC software requirements

  • Microsoft .NET Framework (4.8 or later)
  • Microsoft Access Database Engine (64-bit)

Microsoft Access Database Engine

These drivers are needed to import data from Microsoft Excel workbooks.

Upgrade

Upgrade Pipeson Certification Manager

Please follow these steps when upgrading your Pipeson Certification Manager on your PC.

  1. Download the new version using a link provided by Pipeson.
  2. Uninstall your current version of Pipeson Certification Manager.
  3. Install the new version

Additional information

All Pipeson Certification Manager settings and saved information will be available in the new version.

Backup and Restore

Backup and Restore in Pipeson Certification Manager

This instruction will guide you through manual backup and restore Pipeson Certification Manager personal settings.

When you perform a system backup of your PC, the personal settings in Pipeson Certification Manager will be backed up automatically.

Backup

  1. Show hidden items, View tab > Check ‘Hidden items’.
  2. Go to C:\Users(Your Username)\AppData\Local\Pipeson\CertificationManager\2.0.0.
  3. Copy all the files from that folder (except certificationmanager.lic file – PC dependent) to your backup location.

Restore

  1. Show hidden items, View tab > Check ‘Hidden items’.
  2. Go to C:\Users(Your Username)\AppData\Local\Pipeson\CertificationManager\2.0.0.
  3. Copy and replace the files from your backup location.

Please note: Do not copy the certificationmanager.lic file. Contact Pipeson when you would like to re-activate your license on the new PC.

License Activation

License Activation in Pipeson Certification Manager

You need your license number and an internet connection, as you need to contact our licensing servers. You will find your license number on your License agreement.

Activation – new user

  1. Start Pipeson Certification Manager.
  2. Click on ‘Activate’ under Main menu – Help.
  3. Fill in License number, Name and Email address.
  4. Accept terms and conditions.
  5. Click on ‘Activate’ button.

Activation – license renewal

  1. Start Pipeson Certification Manager.
  2. Click on ‘Renew License’ under Main menu – Help.
  3. Fill in License number.
  4. Accept terms and conditions.
  5. Click on ‘Activate’ button.

If you change computer, please contact support@pipeson.com. We need to re-activate your Pipeson Certification Manager license.
