Exova

Exova is a global provider of laboratory testing, advising and assuring services to many of the world’s most innovative companies. Exova in Nyköping, Sweden, an independent testing institute specialized in tests for pressure pipes since 1973. The mission is to provide superior testing and evaluation services, which form an integral part of material classifications, system certifications, and research and development projects. Exova testing services are fully accredited and covers standardized tests and custom made tests. Exova has been working with Pipeson since 2007.

Application and use

At Exova we are working with clients all over the world. Often the basis in our projects is pressure pipe tests. The test results are used for many different regression analyses and lifetime predictions. We used to perform all calculations in our own developed software, SEM software and Excel. It was a lot of work handling different software and Excel work books.

With Pipeson Analyzer we have the test data in one file and can perform all needed work for all standards and test protocols. We appreciate that Analyzer has different working views, which is optimized to perform different tasks. All views contain tailored functionality and useful tools, which make the work easy and fast. For us is the possibility to save information and results if highest importance. It is clear that Analyzer is becoming a complete tool for all companies and people working with pressure pipe test data.

With Analyzer we save lots of time and can provide a better service to our clients. We have quick access to all data, evaluation results and lifetime predictions. If we need to perform any additional work, we just open Analyzer and get the results in a few mouse clicks. Communication has been taken to a different level. We use Analyzer in all project meetings and when requested we send Analyzer data files, Line lifetime files and Compare files.

We enjoy the fact that Analyzer is under constant development and that we are part of it. The work with pipe test data has become more fun and interesting. Pipeson is a very interesting company as they really impact the industry, changing the way we work and communicate.
