Analyzer – Backup and restore
This instruction will guide you through manual backup and restore Analyzer personal settings for Windows 7,8 and 10.
When you perform a system backup of your PC, the personal settings in Analyzer will be backed up automatically.
When you change to a new computer you might need to backup your personal Analyzer settings from your ‘old’ computer. The backup settings can then be restored on your new computer.
To backup settings
Step 1 – Go to: C:\Users\(Your Username)\AppData\Local\Pipeson\Analyzer\3.0.0
Step 2 – Copy all the files from that folder (except analyzer.lic file) to your backup location
Please note: In case that you cannot see your AppData folder, you might need to change your “Folder and search options”. Select “Show hidden files and folders”.
To restore settings
Step 1 – Go to: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Pipeson\Analyzer\3.0.0
Step 2 – Copy and replace the files from your backup location.
(Please note: Do not copy the analyzer.lic file. Contact Pipeson when you would like to re-activate your license on the new PC)
