Ata Ciechanowski
Ata Ciechanowski received his B.S.E in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee in 1996. He started working at NSF international in 1998 and while working in different positions at NSF he also completed a Masters in Engineering (Plastics Engineering) from the University of Michigan in 2002. Ata also has a professional Engineering License from the State of Michigan.
Today Ata Ciechanowski is the Assistant Director, Engineering Laboratories, at NSF International. He is responsible for all testing related to plastics piping systems – HDS, chlorine, performance and material. He also actively represents NSF at a number of technical committees: ASTM, ASME, AWWA, UL and CSA. Ata is one of the leading experts regarding requirements, standards and tests needed to attain product approval and certification for use in the North American market.
