We understand that a streamlined, uninterrupted workflow is a key factor in optimizing your business in terms of quality and efficiency, and in meeting and exceeding your customers’ expectations. Currently 70 companies on four continents use our software solutions in order to optimize evaluation, manage pressure test data and to streamline communication and collaboration.

Pipeson Analyzer is a complete tool for data evaluation and communication of findings.

Pipeson Data Manager manages all aspects of projects and approvals including data and documents.

New Functionality
Approval Management is the most recently added functionality in the Pipeson Data Manager. It allows you to manage approvals for materials, pipes, fittings and piping systems with ease and provides an additional layer of control. It effectively prevents you from jeopardizing your business by failing to renew approvals in time and helps you to make sure that all approvals are valid on all prospective markets.

Approval Manager keeps all the information pertaining to approvals safe over time, as it is stored in a central database. You and your colleagues will always know where to store the information and you can always go straight to the source to locate it.

Cloud-based Service
Pipeson’s software can be installed either locally, partly or completely in the cloud. Pipeson Cloud is a ‘Software as a Service’ – (SaaS) solution. It is based on Microsoft’s Azure Cloud platform and hosted in Microsoft datacenters. Microsoft has developed rigorous security guidelines laid out in the Operational Security Assurance (OSA) process. Azure meets a broad set of international and industry-specific compliance standards e.g. the international cloud privacy standard ISO 27018.

For the past two years Pipeson has dedicated a lot of resources to the development of the recently launched Approval Management functionality in Pipeson Data Manager. Our next product development focus will be on creating a tool for managing factory production quality control plans. The need for this tool was brought to our attention by one of our customers and our development team has validated the idea. We are currently visiting a number of production plants in Europe to learn more about the exact work flow and procedures. The plan is to launch the new module during the second quarter of 2016.

It’s now been 8 years since we launched Pipeson Analyzer 1.0 at the Plastic Pipes Conference in Budapest in 2008. Since then we have worked together with users and development partners and we have continuously increased Analyzer’s scope and application areas.  Together, we have built a very competent software tool.

Now, we have initiated yet another major development phase and are currently in the process of implementing a number of new ideas. This time we have a special focus on making Pipeson Analyzer smarter and to increase the level of automation. We have already decided to improve the project monitoring and data simulation capabilities to make it easier to stay on track, meet requirements and also to look into possible future scenarios of ongoing projects.

We are planning to launch the next version of the software at the end of the first quarter 2016, which means that there is still time for you to get your ideas included in the next release. Please contact us if you would like to contribute. If you already have submitted ideas to Pipeson you will be contacted when it is time to check the implementation of your proposal.

Come this fall Pipeson’s solutions will be available in the cloud. Our Software as a Service (SaaS) solution is based on Microsoft’s Azure Cloud platform and hosted in Microsoft datacenters. The implementation in the Pipeson cloud solution is really fast and it allows our customers to start working in a matter of hours. Pipeson’s cloud solution is the most cost efficient license model and central system upgrades and maintenance is included.

“Rather than initiating an internal IT project that takes a long time and utilizes in-house resources the system is set up by Pipeson. The implementation becomes a fast and easy operation as the server part of the system is ready to go. Pipeson will maintain and upgrade the system, which means that the internal IT costs for system maintenance is reduced to a minimum. PC software can either be installed on your local PC’s or run directly from Microsoft Azure RemoteApps. All our customers need from us is their username and a password”, says Vladimir Galić, Software Designer at Pipeson.

Pipeson Cloud Service provides the customer with a high availability solution that delivers excellent performance. It is also has the highest level of security.

“Moving the applications and data into the cloud actually increases the level of performance and security. That is one of the main reasons why 57% of Fortune 500 companies already rely on Azure”, says Vladimir Galić.

Benefits of the cloud-based solution:

  • Fast and seamless implementation
  • Central upgrades and system maintenance
  • Requires a minimum of in-house IT-resources
  • Access applications from any device

Pipeson Data Manager 2.0 – coming this September

7 July 2015

pipeson_data_manager_20_news

In September a new version of Pipeson Data Manager will see the light of day. Compared to the previous version of Pipeson Data Manager the scope has been greatly extended, and it has evolved from exclusively housing plastic pipe test data to also managing approvals for different countries and applications throughout the material- or product lifecycle. The approval management functionality has been developed in close collaboration with Kiwa and LyondellBasell.

Pipeson Data Manager 2.0 now is a comprehensive data management system providing a framework for the most important plastic pipe test data and all other information and documentation pertaining to testing and approval. Once the information is in the system it provides a complete overview of what testing has been performed and the current status of all material- and product approvals. Having all information in one structured place, independent of any one person, makes it easy to verify testing and data is never lost or misplaced. The status of all tests is always available allowing you to respond to customer queries much faster. The system will clearly indicate when action needs to be taken, for example when an approval is about to expire and measures to renew it need to be initiated.

These new features make Pipeson Data Manager 2.0 useful not only for organizations with large quantities of pressure pipe test data, but also to any organization who works with product approvals such as material producers, pipe manufacturers and testing institutes. Pipeson Data Manager 2.0 does not only administer pressure test data that is used in Pipeson Analyzer but also all kinds of data and documents pertaining to all parts of the approval process.

Take 2.0 for a test drive!

As of August we will have ten complete cloud based test-environments. Send us an e-mail if you are interested in testing the new functionalities in Pipeson Data Manager 2.0

Kiwa is a market leader in the area of certification and they are specialized in certification guidelines and product standards for approvals. The Kiwa mark is a highly respected; and having their stamp of approval on your product carries significant weight across the globe.

In collaboration, Pipeson and Kiwa have created a new functionality in Pipeson Data Manager, called Approval Management. Just like the name suggest, this new functionality will make it easier for our customers to follow the approval processes and to manage product approvals over time.

”Certification is in itself not a complex process and having all the testing requirements in a clear overview makes it very straight forward work. The Approval Management tool makes it easy to meet the typical international product standards”, says Marco Mekes.

Approval Management is based on Kiwa design and on their knowledge of product standards, certification guidelines and customer needs. It will be launched to current clients of Pipeson Data Manager in January as a part of the new Pipeson Data Manager 2.0.
